2004 Domaine St Pierre Vin de Pays de L'Herault

Picked up this little number at Marks and Spenser coming through Victoria Station in London. What a great surprise, a really cracking wine consumed at the first Operations Sea Penguin "room party" at the Riverbank Park Plaza Hotel. The room with the view of train tracks and some sort of oval sports field. For some reason AD and Pietro got really excited about this and then stared at it for five minutes without saying a word. Hoo boy, these Brits. Anyway we ended up buying another bottle. This is some sort of M&S house wine. We didn't drink a great deal of wine during the rest of Operation Sea Penguin because the beer and ale was so good and also because Lin got hooked on this special, pre-mixed Pimm's.
