2001 Le Marquis de Garra ud Bordeaux

A delightful tuna dish was accompanied by a fine Bordeaux. Yes, red wine with seafood again. Served at Bob and Val's. Mike: "Decreasingly metallic, smooth, a subtle note in the middle with a nice dry finish". Bob: "Startling at first but once equilibrium was achieved the fruitiness took over".

2002 Lindemans Merlot - Bin 40

Ultimate faux pas: red wine with seafood. Why oh why couldn't I have stopped for a Sancere, but no, mais qui. It had to be an Australian (earthy) red. Which whilst it did not invade the taste buds it did avert? some of the fire? . . .but I digress. Notwithstanding all of the above. This un"appropro" slight precocious garners a 6+.

1999 Hardy's Nottage Hill Cab-Shiraz

Great steaks from the Fresh Market. A medium intensity wine that went very well with the steaks. The flavor was a bit suppressed. Buy again.

Covey Run Cab-Merlot

Something consumed at Aldo's with the Jimmy and Cindy. An evening that deteriorated into Karakoke or maybe was riased to a hihger level-Karaoke.

2000 Fat Bastard Cabernet

A bit thin especially when compared to the Norman. Takes the sting off of extended hot Yoga recruitment sessions. Rating 6.

The First Entry

2000 Greg Norman Cabernet Merlot-Limestone Coast. This wine was a very balanced taste that was served with hors d'oeuvres. Rating: 8. NEX: $12.99
